Marsha Knicley-Masood, internationally trained hairdresser and colorist, has led Sagittarius Salon's success since 1973. Marsha's Sagittarius Salon is a member of Intercoiffure, the most prestegious organization in the beauty industry. She is a platinum member of the National Cosmetology Association and an active member of the Professional Beauty Association. Marsha is also the founder of "Life is a Gift," a non-profit organization that supports women cancer survivors. The salon and spa donates services, products, time and monies to charities and individuals throughout the area.
The Sagittarius team participates yearly in Locks of Love; Wigs for Kids; Life is a Gift - Day of Beauty; Alex's Lemonade; Mother's Day and Father's Day makeovers; Prom Queen Makeover, and numerous others. It is our way of giving back to our very supportive community.
To say Sagittarius Salon and Spa has staying power is an under statement - 35 years in the beauty business and still the trend leader in the area. Sagittarius Salon and Spa was granted the first environmental award from Honeywell for the state of Maryland. There are no toxic fumes or smells in our eco-friendly salon and spa.
